We are on our way!!!

Sorry that I have not posted lately! It has been crazy busy in the Pitcher house! We are on our way and we are checking things off our adoption to do list! We have submitted both of our background checks. No we just need to wait to complete our home study, which we have scheduled with our amazing social worker Adrienne! She has been so wonderful and she has helped us find the resources that we need to be able to get all the pre adoption stuff ready to go. As Cody and I have started filling out all of the paperwork, we have really bonded! I am so excited to build an eternal family with him! He is such an amazing support to me and,  I cannot wait to share the responsibility of being parents with him! We have been trying to get things ready for little Pitcher's room for our home study.

 We have had paint sitting around for a while and this weekend we finally got around to patching holes and painting. I am not sure what the people who lived in our house before us hung on their walls, but there were a lot of holes to fill in the nursery, raning from railroad spikes to push pin marks everywhere! It was fun taking that time and prepping the room. I really felt the Spirit as we did so! It just made everything seem that much more real! THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING! WE ARE DOING THIS!! I know that it will not be easy, and that is okay. I am just glad that Cody and I have each other on this adventure!

We also were able to have some pictures taken by my sweet Aunt Erma, with the help of my cousin Randi Spendlove! THANK YOU,THANK YOU, THANK YOU for some amazing pics! We are starting to prepare some pass along cards to be able to hand out to anyone and everyone! Dad came down from Cedar to help paint the nursery! We had a good time painting, talking and jamming to 80's music while Cody worked hard outside on the yard! 

WE HAVE BEEN TOUCHED BY ANGELS

Our hearts have been truly touched by all of the donations that were made, and by those who stopped by to buy things and donate! We had a lot of donations and we have been able to make a huge dent on our way to our adoption! We had a sweet little girl that was going in for heart surgery next week. She asked how much a little heart set was and when I told her $2 she said ok. She told me that she needed it because she was going to have to sit really still, after her heart surgery.  We gave some things to her and her siblings and then her sweet family made a donation to us! We were able to get a lot of names in our bad to for tag the bag! Everyone that donated got to signed their name on our bag that we are going to use when we get that for a baby! We had a great time and we are very grateful to Cindy Laubscher,Paula Righetti Sands Pitcher, and Jay Pitcher , as well as little Pierce for all of their help today! We couldn't have done it without you! Thank you again to all of our family and friends that donated items! We love you all, and we are are truly grateful for all of your support! We will be donated some our proceeds to a sweet little family in our area! They have lost their sweet little momma/ wife. Some of our dear neighbors came by and donated some money to us because their family had dealt with health problems in the past and they didnt know if she was going to make it! WE ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR ALL OF THE SUPPORT!

Please share this with anyone and everyone! The more shares we can get the more our name will get out there, and closer we will be to finding our little one! We are so excited to begin this process! We have received so many donations for our yard sale! We are so so grateful for all of hte donations that everyone has brought over! I came out to get the mail a couple of days ago, and there was a bunch of stuff sitting on our porch! I was so humbled and I just began to cry! Seeing all of this support is AMAZING!!! We have been so blessed with wonderful friends and family! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! We will have more to post of the actual yard sale!!!
